The  7th International Scientific Conference “Magnetic Levitation Transport Systems and Technologies" (MTST’19) will be held at the oldest transport engineering university of the Russian Federation, at the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University (PGUPS), from May 23 until May 25, 2019.

The goal of the conference is to bring together researchers from both academia and industry, to share research findings, and to discuss latest developments in maglev transport technologies.

Official languages of the conference are Russian and English. An English Language conference interpretation will be provided.


Programme of the Conference May 23 – 25, 2019:

• Plenary sessions:
  Recent achievements in the development of maglev technologies and related transport projects;
   
• Round-table talks:
  “Promoting Maglev transportation technologies: current challenges and new strategies to address them”;
  “Maglev transport: The role of standardisation and international cooperation”.
   
• Programme on May 25, 2019: Cultural programme in Lomonossov city (with transfer from Saint Petersburg).
  Programme: Visit to Oranienbaum Palace ensemble; Visit to Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel; Organ music concert at Church of St. John; Dinner, gypsy performance, Russian songs concert.

Publication:
All accepted papers submitted by the authors will be published in the Journal “Transportation Systems and Technologies” ( www.transsyst.ru ; ISSN 2413-9203). The journal is issued both in English and Russian and published without charges (Platinum Open Access).

The registration fee is 200 euros.
Retiree discount – 50%,
Student discount – 75%.
Registration opens on Jan. 1, 2019.
The registration fees can be paid on the spot or by bank transfer.
The cultural programme fee will be 100 Euro, to be paid separately on the spot.

Important dates:

• Jan. 1, 2019:     Registration opens for non-russian partricipants.
                            This is the key date for participants that will need an invitation for Russian visa application.
                            The invitation letter will be issued by PGUPS (application and abstracts can be sent to admin@rusmaglev.com)
• Feb. 23, 2019   General registration opens at www.rusmaglev.com
• April 11, 2019    Full paper submission deadline
• April 15, 2019    Registration closes for the participants who require invitation for Russian visa through PGUPS.
